Whenever I cook my famous homemade macaroni and cheese, everyone asks, "Girl, what's in this? Can you give me the recipe?" I politely say yes, but what I really want to say is, "Why can't you just enjoy it with your eyes closed?!" I am not at all trying to be rude; the point of the dish is to enjoy it, not quiz the chef.
Sometimes we tend to focus on the ingredients of life instead of the actual moment. Ingredients are just that, many different things that make one fantastic thing. Worrying about the right measurement of this or that will destroy the end result. Instead, learn how to sprinkle a little bit of this and a little bit of that to your taste, not others. After all, whose taste buds are you trying to satisfy?
The same applies for relationships and such. Instead of dissecting everything about yourself, enjoy the moments that you are baking or in waiting. Watch yourself bubble and transform as the heat of life puts you under pressure that you never thought that you could handle. If you're too salty, uptight, add a little sugar. If you don't have enough flavor, try something different. Give yourself adequate time to transform, but try not to over-bake by not paying attention. When the time is right, you will be right for the right occasion; remember that you have to wait for the right season. So Allow your ingredients, your qualities, to blend together to make one hell of a product.
